Jo has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for more than 10 years in primary and emergency care.
Her special interests include women’s health, sexual health, dermatology, emergency and pediatrics.
Jo has three adult children. Her eldest lives in Melbourne and the youngest in Los Angeles. Her middle child gets to boss her around at work.
In her spare time, Jo enjoys Pilates, staying active and tending to her garden with her many chickens.

Richard is a Nurse Practitioner with 12 years’ experience working in emergency medicine. He has a special interest in acute care and a passion for helping people.

Abbey graduated from the Ara Institute of Canterbury in 2019 with a Bachelor of Nursing.
After graduation she worked in the Plastics department of Christchurch Hospital, before spending 3 years in Urgent Care. She joined the team at Bryndwr Medical Rooms in January 2025.
Abbey has a special interest in wound management and sexual health.
In her spare time, she likes to obsess over her finely manicured lawn and spend time with her partner and two cats.

Penny trained at the Christchurch Hospital graduating in 1978. She began working in general practice in 1980.
Along the way, her and her late husband had three sons. Penny now has two grandsons!
Penny has worked as a relieving nurse at Bryndwr Medical Rooms for the past 5 years.
Her special interests include childhood immunisations and wound care.
In her spare time, Penny plays Mahjong, is currently learning croquet, belongs to a book and embroidery group, and enjoys walking with friends.
Lynley has been working in general practice for the last 5 years. She joined the team at Bryndwr Medical Rooms in January 2025. She enjoys the variety of general practice and working with the team at Bryndwr Medical Rooms. In her spare time, Lynley enjoys playing board games, listening to music, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Ollie is currently studying at UC, pursuing a career in teaching, after spending the last two years working in sales in the electrical sector. Ollie joined the team at Bryndwr Medical Rooms in January 2025. Alongside work and study, he also plays football for the Christchurch United 1st Team.
